Germany - climate

The climate of Germany is mostly a temperate one in which humid westerly winds predominate. In the north-west and the north of Germany the climate is oceanic. A more continental climate is typical of the east, while the central and southern areas are transition regions in which the climate varies from moderately oceanic to continental.
